Science Day

Last friday and on Halloween, I got to take apart of a program that goes on at our elementary schools called Science Day. It’s a day where all the kids get to sign up for different, fun science courses. I taught the class Rock n Roll Ice Cream for kindergarden to 2nd grade !

We got to make ice cream by putting all the ingredients in a small can, then putting that small can in a big can filled with ice and rock salt. Then we sat down and rolled the can back and forth, making ice cream. It was very fun and turned out very good, I can’t wait until January when we get to teach another school.

Halloween

Halloween is coming up this Thursday, and I can’t wait! This year I am going as Minnie Mouse. Last year my friends and I participated in a real life Slenderman game. Slenderman is a video game in which you try to find 8 letters in the woods, while trying to avoid the Slenderman, a tall man with no face in a suit. It was very scary yet thrilling, and I managed to ‘win’ and got a prize! I had lots of fun, and hopefully I will this year.

The Little Mermaid

Under the sea
In the kingdom of Atlantica
Among the fish lived the mermaid Ariel
Below the crashing waves she spotted a boat.
Aboard the boat was the handsome prince

From far away she dreamed of having legs
Until the storm came through
Down the boat went
In the waves the prince struggled to stay afloat
Beside him Ariel took him to shore

But Ariel could not be with him
With her mermaid tail

7th Grade!

So far this school year has been great! All my classes are going well, but there is so much homework! At least this year I have some classes with my friends, last year I did not. We just got our iPads and I’m excited to start using them. My favorite class right now is choir, I love to sing. The worst part about school is waking up early! ☹☹ Other than that this year has been better than I expected, and I’m hoping it stays that way! ☺School life, now a memory
